On Friday 6 June, the VUB will award honorary doctorates to four renowned scientists during a prestigious Doctor Honoris Causa ceremony. The scientists are being honoured for their significant contributions to both their fields and society: linguist Terttu Nevalainen (Languages and Humanities), climate scientist Joeri Rogelj (Engineering), child welfare expert John D. Fluke (Psychology and Educational Sciences), and bioethicist and philosopher Peter Singer.
