PRIVACY NOTICE

This privacy notice explains how we, the Health and Ageing Law Lab (HALL) at Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB), collect and process personal data generated from participants who register to attend the 4th Health, Ethics, Law and Technology (HELT) Symposium (henceforth, 'HELT Symposium'. Any personal data we collect is processed in compliance with the GDPR as implemented in Belgium, as well as relevant VUB policies.

To complete your registration for the HELT Symposium
To provide information / updates related to the event
To facilitate communications with registered participants to the event
To announce future HELT activities and events organised by HALL
To receive the HALL newsletter or other updates of interest to the HELT community

NEWSLETTER AND UPDATES

When you agree to be added to the HELT mailing list, any personal information that we collect and process (i.e name, email adress, organisation details) is used for this purpose only. We do not disclose any of your personal data to third parties.

We will not share your personal data with any third parties. We don’t sell or monetise your personal data.

We retain your personal information to fulfill the necessary purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law.
