The organizer and its processor, idloom, process your data in accordance with the European GDPR. The information you have provided is necessary to organize the event you are participating in, to generate invoices, to confirm your registration via email, to create your badge, and to give you the opportunity to modify your registration. These data may also be processed by the organizer for its legitimate interests: to promote its activities by informing you about them, to present you with offers from partners and sponsors related to this event, to obtain analytics about this event, and to ensure a satisfactory network by displaying your name and company on the attendee list. You have the right to object to this processing. 

Only after appropriate safeguards with the subcontractor or recipient have been ensured, will idloom process the user's personal data within the European Union and in third countries. The data will be transferred to the organizer's country. The organizer will retain your data after the event until the legal obligations, particularly tax and accounting, for archiving have expired, and until the end of the liability period. 

You can obtain written communication of your data from the organizer (contact details of the VUB DPO can be found at https://www.vub.be/en/privacybeleid-vub), as well as, where applicable, data portability, rectification, restriction of processing, and deletion of data that are incorrect, incomplete, or irrelevant. For more information or to file a complaint, you can contact the supervisory authority of the country of your habitual residence.
