Vrije Universiteit Brussel and De Markten invite teachers, school classes, and the general public to Pamela Tulizo’s exhibition MABABU.
Through staged photographs, historical references, clothing, and symbolic gestures, photographer Pamela Tulizo invites you to approach the history of slavery in a different way—not just through maps, dates, and statistics, but also through the voices, memories, and stories of the women who resisted it. She brings African women out of obscurity—women full of strength and courage.
Opening hours
