In your confirmation e-mail you will find a link to modify or cancel your registration. If you cannot find the email, try registering again with your VUB email address to receive a modification link.
This registration module works based on your email address. So, if you have already registered once with this email address, the system will tell you that you already exist.
What to do:
- You enter your email address as usual.
- A popup will now appear telling you that you already exist. Choose the option 'send modification link'.
- In your mailbox you will now receive an email from the system with a link
- If you click on that link, it will take you to your already created profile and you can register for a new formation.
Nothing! The entire range of group sessions within Study Guidance is free for all VUB students.
The workshops are organised on the Etterbeek campus, Jette campus and online. When you register, you can choose where you want to follow workshops. You will find out the specific location in your confirmation email that you will receive after registration; a room number for an on-campus workshop and a Microsoft Teams link for an online workshop.
All VUB students who are enrolled in a bachelor's, master's, bridging programme, preparatory programme or other programme can register for our workshops.
Are you a PhD student? Then you can take a look at the group offer on your WeAreVUB portal or call on the well-being offer for staff.
You can participate in as many workshops as you want. We do recommend that you only register for the workshops that you think are useful for yourself. In addition, we ask you to only register for the workshops you will attend. So, make sure you have a balanced and feasible schedule.
Exception: you can only register for one training at the time per semester (one training consists of multiple, consecutive sessions).
Study Guidance offers workshops throughout the academic year; so during semester 1, semester 2 and in the summer period. By registering you can see which workshops are currently offered. Our calendar is updated at the start of each semester and at the beginning of the summer period.
In each workshop there is a bit of theory as well as a bit of exercises. Each lecturer provides sufficient Q&A moments. Depending on the workshop, there is more or less room for interaction and sharing experiences. In online workshops, we always ask all participants to turn on their video camera to promote interaction and a confidential atmosphere.
Our study advisors have a duty of discretion. This means that they won't just share information about you with others. You can read more about our code of ethics here. We also ask all fellow students not to record the workshop, so that we can create a confidential environment in which participants feel safe to ask questions and share experiences.
