International Symposium on Embodied Culture (26-27th of May 2026)

The international symposium on Embodied Culture is a 2-day event, taking place on May 26th and 27th 2026. Embodied Culture explores the cultural layers of the built environment across time, scale, and practice. The symposium brings together scholars, designers, and practitioners to reflect on how materials, labour, techniques, reuse, heritage and regulations shape buildings, and how buildings in turn shape societies and landscapes. The program includes keynote lectures, paper sessions, alternative-format presentations.
