How to reach PILAR at the VUB Main Campus in Ixelles/Etterbeek?

PILAR is located on the VUB Main Campus in Ixelles (B-1050), at Pleinlaan 2, and is easily accessible by public transportation. We strongly recommend using one of the following options:

PILAR is situated right next to Etterbeek train station, which offers convenient connections from Brussels Central, Brussels Airport, and all major train stations across Belgium. You can consult the full schedule on the SNCB/NMBS website.

You can also easily take metro line 5 from Brussels city centre (e.g., from Brussels Central Station or Brussels Schuman) and get off at Pétillon station. Plan your journey via the STIB-MIVB website.

Both tram 7 and tram 25 serve the VUB campus, get off at either the VUB or Etterbeek Station stop. Route planning is available on the STIB-MIVB site as well.

Several bus lines also stop near the VUB: lines 34, 36, 61, 95, and 348 all pass by the Main Campus. You can also plan your bus journey through the STIB-MIVB platform.

Coming by car? Free parking is available on campus during the event. However, you must register your license plate in advance via this dedicated link. Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email with further details, including the campus parking regulations.
