The VUB Main Campus is very easy to reach by public transport. We therefore recommend using one of the following options:
- Train: The VUB Main Campus is located right next to Etterbeek train station with easy connections from Brussels City Centre, Brussels Airport and all train stations in Belgium. For a detailed timetable, please visit the website of NMBS.
- Metro: You can also easily take Metro line 5 from Brussels City Centre, including from Brussels Central and Brussels Schuman train stations, and get off at Pétillon metro station. Plan your journey on the STIB-MIVB website.
- Tram: Both tram 7 and tram 25 go past VUB, get off at tram station VUB or Etterbeek Station. Plan your journey on the STIB-MIVB website.
- Bus: Various buses run to the VUB: buses 34, 36, 61, 95 and 348 pass at the Main Campus. You can also plan your bus ride on the STIB-MIVB website.
Brussels is also very easy to traverse by bike, so if you are feeling adventurous, why not rent a bike and attend the conference that way? See campus map below.
