EUTOPIA - Groundwater
Workshop & conference 2024
The EUTOPIA-Groundwater Workshop & Conference 2024 is an international groundwater event organized by the Department of Water & Climate at Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) and partially funded by EUTOPIA.
EUTOPIA, as part of the European Universities Initiative, is an Alliance formed by ten European universities, encouraging cooperation between higher education institutions through cross-border collaboration. Proudly, VUB is a member of this Alliance.
The EUTOPIA-Groundwater Workshop & Conference 2024 aims to contribute to the academic community, foster the exchange of ideas, and provide invaluable networking opportunities for all participants.
With this important goal in mind, we invite EUTOPIA and non-EUTOPIA researchers engaged in groundwater and climate adaptation research to participate in the EUTOPIA-Groundwater Workshop & Conference 2024. This 3-day event will take place at the VUB campus in Brussels from April 22nd to 24th, 2024.
The program includes a 2-day workshop on "Time Series Analysis for Hydrogeologists" conducted by Dr. Raoul Collentour, the lead developer of PASTAS.
The closing event is a one-day conference where EUTOPIA researchers will present their work on multiple groundwater-related investigations. The conference includes keynote speakers whose expertise and contributions to groundwater research will significantly enrich the discussions as part of this event.
The fee for this event is 500 euros. The fee includes coffee breaks, lunches and the networking reception event.
