At the academic opening, Federica Mogherini will give a guest speech. Mogherini is rector of the College of Europe and former EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy. We will also listen to the message of EUTOPIA president rector Tiziana Lippiello of Ca'Foscari University of Venice, and EUTOPIA student representatives. VUB rector Jan Danckaert, in his opening speech, will make the case for a new hopeful era: Europe, EUTOPIA, and the need for a new Renaissance.
