Why the Global Privacy Summer Academy?
- One‑week, in‑person programme hosted in Brussels or online attendance
- Lectures, panels, and workshops on core chapters of the EU digital rulebook, covering key topics such as data and AI model governance, cross-border data flows, cybersecurity and resilience, risk assessments, and comparative perspectives from jurisdictions including Brazil, China, and the UK.

Who can apply? |
• Early‑ to mid‑career researchers from geographically under‑represented groups e.g., researchers from the Majority World such as Africa, South America, Asia • Staff of non‑profit / civil‑society organisations working on digital rights including privacy/data protection • Staff of start-ups (small businesses with 15 or less than 15 employees) |
